Areas of Interest

The below section aims to understand in which areas you would like to be allocated tutoring if successful and what sort of hours package would be suitable.

Please note that the max number of hours that any full-time student can be contracted for is 414 in the academic year/9hrs a weak on average over the duration of the contract.

Students on a tier 4 visa should always adhere to working hours limit as per their right work status.

We shall ask for a preference on how many groups you would like in each semester and these shall be allocated depending upon several factors including but not limited not; need/student numbers, previous experience, number of request from other applicants. Please refer to details in the recruitment pack provided on how many approx. hours may relate to each group/course area.

Where clashes or hours packages exceed recommend guidelines, preference maybe given to your “home” subject area in terms of assigning work.

We shall try to allocate in line with preferences below as much as possible but this cannot always be assured.
